Like all Lotuses, the 26R values low weight over power. In this 26R specification, the Elan has a homologation weight of only 580 kgs

This example is a very early Series 2 and for that reason eligible for every pre-1965 event. It has been raced in Denmark for some years and was extensively rebuilt and prepared to 26R specifications by renowned Danish specialist TP Motorsport in 2016. Early 2021 the engine was completely rebuilt with the best parts and dyno-ed at 175 bhp.

This spectacular Lotus Elan is a very competitive device and eligible for all important events like the Peter Auto series, Masters Racing, Spa 6 hours, The International SuperSixties championship and many more. 

This little gem could be your race weapon for the new season at a price well below the cost to build one.
